Maternal and Child Health in Colorado

Vision: Healthy People, Healthy Families, Thriving Communities

Mission: To optimize the health and well-being of the maternal and child health population by employing primary prevention and early intervention public health strategies. 

Colorado MCH Priorities: State and local partners selected the 2011-2015 MCH Priorities based on a comprehensive needs assessment process including a review of qualitative and quantitative data and stakeholder input. The priorities integrate Maternal and Child Health and Children with Special Health Care Needs efforts across the life span while focusing on primary prevention and early intervention approaches.

Programs: Colorado MCH works in partnership with local and state-level partners to implement local and state-level activities that address the following areas:
