Health Care Program For Children with Special Needs
Newborn Screening

Newborn screens are important procedures performed to test whether your newborn has a disorder that could inhibit his or her normal development.

Early testing can identify illness or hearing loss that may not become apparent for many months. Early detection and early treatment can give a baby every possible chance for a healthy start to life.

In Colorado, infants are tested for hearing and several metabolic disorders.

Our Programs Include:

Newborn Hearing Screening
Newborn Metabolic Screening
