State Genetics Program

As the extent of genetic disease in the population becomes better understood and knowledge of genetic disorders expands, it becomes increasingly important to provide genetic disease diagnosis, counseling, and education to all segments of our population. The Colorado State Genetics Program works to protect and improve the health of all Coloradans by promoting the availability of high quality, comprehensive genetic diagnostic, counseling, screening, treatment and referral services.
