The Colorado Advisory Council on Adolescent Health is an interdisciplinary, dynamic group of adolescent health experts and community advocates who are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of all Colorado adolescents. Members provide their advice and expertise to educate and inform the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, along with other state-level initiatives. The Council was commissioned in 1982 by the Department to provide guidance on priorities and use of resources to improve the health and well-being of Colorado’s young people. The Council also educates and informs the public and advocates for policies and programs affecting all youth in Colorado.
