Health Care Program For Children with Special Needs
Youth Violence Prevention

The primary objective of the Youth Violence Prevention Program is to enhance Colorado’s capacity to address child and adolescent health through violence prevention. A Violence Prevention Advisory Group (VPAG), consisting of nationally known violence prevention experts, state agency leaders, and members of private and nonprofit prevention groups, has been created to work with the CDPHE on the development of a state needs and resources assessment, followed by the construction of a state-wide strategic plan.
