Cervical Cancer and HPV
Task Force
The mission of the Cervical Cancer and HPV Task Force is to create a
forum where key stakeholders within CDPHE, the medical community and the
Public Health community provide education and dialogue regarding
cervical cancer and HPV.
The goals of the Task Force are:
- Build coalitions among stakeholders to implement cervical cancer
elimination strategies, including vaccines and screening for
vulnerable populations
- Ensure reimbursement for increased access to Pap testing, HPV
testing, and the HPV vaccine
- Continue to develop and fund cervical cancer and HPV public
education and awareness programs
- Improve data quality and collection to evaluate programs and
services
