Women’s Wellness Connection (WWC)
What tests can I receive?
Available Exams for Women Age 40 - 49
- Pap Test/Pelvic Exam*
- Clinical Breast Exam
- Mammogram - Must not exceed 25 percent of all women screened.
Priority will be given to women with any of the following risk
factors:
- Mother, sister, or daughter with breast cancer prior to age
50;
- Two or more first degree relatives (mother, sister,
daughter) with breast cancer at any age;
- Personal history of breast cancer; and
- Clinical breast examination or breast self-exam symptomatic
for cancer, such as lump or pain.
Available Exams for Women over 50
- Pap Test/Pelvic Exam*
- Clinical Breast Exam
- Mammogram
*Pap tests and pelvic exams provided only for women with an intact
cervix. After 3 or more consecutive annual satisfactory normal Pap
tests, the interval can be increased to every three years at the
discretion of the provider.
Diagnostic services are also provided as needed, with a serious
result.
