Worksite 2006-07 Workplan Activities
- Contact champions and enhance partnerships with statewide and local
organizations.
- Host initial meeting with interested parties.
- Develop a communication system between COPAN and local Worksite Task
Forces.
- Provide at least five to ten grants. Grants will fund
worksites to build capacity to begin health promotion activities and to
support programming and activities for worksites that have established
worksite health promotion programs.
- Develop a schedule of professional development opportunities
including topics, sites, dates, speakers and complementary tools.
- Develop a checklist or utilize an existing checklist for worksites
to assess their level of health promotion programming and progress.
Provide a report to worksites outlining recommendations for progress
based on checklist. Utilize the checklist as a post measurement
tool to assess the level of programming in worksites subsequent to
professional development opportunities.
- Develop at least four professional development web cast
presentations.
- Develop a tool to track worksite health promotion programs and
policy and environmental factors being implemented in Colorado.
- Create an awards and recognition program to recognize worksites for
programming, Well Workplace awards, and as a networking opportunity.
- Build capacity of State Health Department (CDPHE) Employee Wellness
Committee.
- Utilize the WELCOA Well Workplace Process to develop a plan, oversee
implementation and evaluate programs offered.
- Solicit partners, vendors, and donations to benefit the CDPHE
Employee Wellness Program.
- Complete the WELCOA Well Workplace application and submit by June
2007.
