Active Community Environments (ACE) Task Force

Public health professionals, community leaders, and concerned citizens are focusing on ways to encourage and increase physical activity because of its many health benefits. Increasingly, the emphasis on walking and bicycling is expanding to include interventions to the physical environment where people live, work, and play. COPAN's Active Community Environments (ACE) Task Force is comprised of a variety of government, public health, transportation, planning, and design partners. Task Force members support planning for and modifying existing environments to promote physical activity and healthy living.
