The mission of the Office of Planning and Partnerships is to
collaborate and partner across the public health system to maintain and
further strengthen statewide infrastructure and capacity.
The Office of
Planning and Partnerships was created to achieve a vision that assures
quality standards and common purpose for all public health and
environmental health services to elevate health outcomes for all
Coloradans.
In addition to working on
meeting the implementation goals of the Act, the Office is dedicated to: |
- Developing a strong infrastructure with state, local, and
private public health partners
- Fostering collaboration and leveraging resources across and
within various levels of government, communities, and non-profit
organizations
- Leading the development of a comprehensive statewide plan for
providing essential
public health services
- Providing internal leadership for the department’s annual
strategic plan
- Providing technical assistance to local public health
- Developing standards tied to improvements in outcomes
- Promoting effective training for the public health workforce
