Statewide exercises

Mission The Colorado Laboratory Forum was formed to ensure that our state laboratories could rapidly, safely and accurately identify biologic agents (naturally occurring
or intentionally released) and communicate testing information via appropriate methods, to allow law enforcement authorities to effectively respond to public health threats and emergencies.

Goals
  • Enhance communications methods for rapid response to state, national or global emergencies.
  • Improve capabilities by strategic planning and statewide laboratory exercises.
  • Train laboratory workers to rapidly identify dangerous bacteria via online courses and wet workshops.
Membership Members of the Colorado Laboratory Forum are scientists with testing capability to detect biologic, chemical or radiologic agents used in terrorist acts
and work in the following laboratories:

Clinical | Public Health | Veterinary | Agricultural | Forensic | Environmental | Research | Military | Federal (CDC, FDA, USDA, EPA)
