A hearing on new Section 17 - Commercial Exploration and Production Waste Impoundments was held on November 18, 2008 before the Colorado Solid and Hazardous Waste Commission.  The proposed regulations were adopted and became effective on December 30, 2008.  The new regulations are also available at http://www.cdphe.state.co.us/regulations/solidwaste/index.html .
