Participation
This study was conducted in order to provide insight into potential
causes of conflict between government agencies and the public, and
assist government staff in further developing successful approaches to
public participation. Initial
conversations with staff members of the Hazardous Materials and Waste
Management Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health gave
direction to the project.
