Pueblo Chemical Depot
Chemical Demilitarization Program
Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) Program
The Colorado Department of
Public Health and Environment, Hazardous Materials and Waste
Management Division has authority to regulate the United States
Army's program to destroy the assembled chemical weapons stored at
Pueblo Chemical Depot. The Division fully supports public
involvement early and often in the permit process. The
documents available for this program are being made available to
insure that the public has every opportunity possible to be
informed and involved as this project evolves.
The Administrative Record
contains documents used by the Hazardous Materials and Waste
Management Division to make permit decisions. All documents
used to make decisions on the draft permit will be included, except
for publicly available texts and reference materials.
Complex figures and drawings unsuitable for web downloading will
be available for review at some locations, but not all locations.
All documents will be available for public
review at the Hazardous Materials and
Waste Management Division Records Center during normal
business hours. In addition, Information Repositories are
located throughout Pueblo County, and will contain current working
documents, figures and drawings. Information Repositories
are not intended to contain the complete Administrative Record;
rather Information Repositories are intended to make review of
current work document easily accessible to the public.
