Emergency Planning Resources Toolkits

Hazard-Specific Appendices

The resources collected here will help a facility to create hazard-specific procedures, referred to appendices, to include in an Emergency Operations Plan. Facilities should include specific procedures for any hazards identified as likely in their Hazard Analysis.

Complete the toolkits most relevant to the facility. Make sure to work the entire toolkit in order, as each section builds on the one previous. The toolkits are designed to complement a Basic Plan and Functional Annexes. It is not necessary for a facility to complete all of the toolkits listed here, however a facility should complete enough specific toolkits to maintain compliance with federal regulations and to compliment the findings of the Hazard Analysis.

he toolkit is divided into several sections. The facility may download the entire toolkit in one file (recommended), or each section is available to download separately. The worksheets are also available for individual download.
