Health Facilities

Community Mental Health Centers

These facilities are dually regulated by the Colorado Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment pursuant to Section 27-10-128, C.R.S. 

Community Mental Health Centers provide the following services for the mentally ill: 

• outpatient services
• inpatient services
• partial hospitalization
• emergency care services
• consultative and educational services

Community Mental Health Clinics provide outpatient services and consultative services, they are not licensed by the division. Community Mental Health Centers as referenced above are licensed by the division.
