Volunteering

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) curreently manages a statewide volunteer database, the Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer (CVM) for medical and public health professionals. Additionally CDPHE will provide required training for participating medical professionals and non-medical personnel so that they are able to respond safely and effectively to disasters.

If you are interested in participating as an emergency medical or public health professional in a disaster, please log onto https://covolunteers.state.co.us to register.  If you do not have email or internet access please contact the Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer system at 303-692-2782.
