Trauma System Consultation

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has obtained funding from the Caring for Colorado Foundation to undertake a trauma system consultation.

A survey team from the American College of Surgeons came to Denver from May 17-20, 2009, to conduct a consultative review of Colorado's trauma system. This is the first such review of the trauma system since its inception. The survey team provided recommendations for future development and enhancement of Colorado’s trauma system.
