Access Procedures

Are you interested in joining the Colorado Immunization Information System? We encourage you to contact the CIIS Coordinator for your specific county for a demonstration of the functionality and benefits of the registry.

Site implementation of CIIS includes the following steps:

• Signed Letter of Agreement by the participating site
• Designation of a CIIS Site Administrator to verify site personnel who can access CIIS
• Determination of who needs to access CIIS at the site
• Creation of individualized user IDs and passwords for all site CIIS users
• Completion of the technical set-up for computers that will be used to access CIIS
• Planning meeting to verify decisions for notification, populating and use of CIIS
• Training of site staff on manual data entry into CIIS

Before you can participate in Colorado’s immunization registry, your office must sign a Letter of Agreement with CIIS stating that your practice will keep the information confidential and not share it with any unauthorized person. Please contact us for more information!
