Measles Update

Measles is present in many states at this time including our neighboring state of Utah, and in many European countries. If traveling, particularly to Europe, keep in mind that a baby between the ages of 6-12 months needs to be vaccinated. The risk to an infant of not being vaccinated and contracting measles is significant. Since this infant will have a dose of MMR that will not count, he/she will need 2 additional doses to be considered up-to-date, later on.
