Colorado AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)What is ADAP?The Colorado AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is a program to provide AIDS-specific medications at no cost on an outpatient basis to Colorado residents who qualify for the program. How do you qualify for ADAP?There are three qualifications for the program:

*For each additional family member, add $14,960 Additionally, if you are eligible for Medicare, you MUST be enrolled in a Medicare Part D Drug Plan in order to access Colorado ADAP. Federal legislation requires that Colorado ADAP must mandate participation in Medicare Part D in order to get assistance with HIV medications. If you have questions about Medicare Part D, contact the Medicare Part D Project Administrator at (303) 692-2783 or the ADAP Project Administrator at 303 692-2748. What medications are on the ADAP Formulary? The ADAP formulary contains the vast majority of HIV specific treatment therapies, as well as many medications that are needed to combat opportunistic infections and side effects of those HIV medications. Some medications that are prescribed for clients who are also diagnosed with mental health issues are covered as well. How do you get enrolled in the program?
