The Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network is a group of programs funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to determine the prevalence of the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) in their areas and includes: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina Utah and Wisconsin. The ADDM Network’s methodology is a multiple source, records-based monitoring system. The goals of the ADDM Network are:
To determine the prevalence of ASD in the communities listed above.
Colorado-ADDM is a partnership between the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and JFK Partners at the University of Colorado Denver.
The goal of CO-ADDM is to provide an ongoing estimate of the prevalence of ASD among children 8 years of age in the Denver Metropolitan area (Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Boulder, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson counties). |
