Vector Control

The program is responsible for monitoring, assisting, and consulting in the abatement, control, and collection of information related to vector borne (insect or animal transmitted) diseases. In addition, the program provides services in identifying insects, control strategies (insects, rodents, etc.), and public awareness of vector and rodent borne (i.e., hantavirus) diseases in Colorado.
