Joni Reynolds

Joni Reynolds is the department's director of Public Health Programs. Reynolds served as director of the Immunization Section at the department from 2006 until July 2011. She has 24 years of experience in public health, including 13 years at the department serving as a public health nursing consultant and a regional epidemiologist. Reynolds previously served as a nursing supervisor at El Paso County Health Department, public health nurse at Tri-County Health Department and health improvement manager at PacifiCare of Colorado.

As director of Public Health Programs, Reynolds is responsible for directing the work of the department’s six health divisions: Prevention Services, Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services, Disease Control and Environmental Epidemiology, Laboratory Services, the Center for Health and Environmental Information and Statistics, and Emergency Preparedness and Response.
