Stakeholder Process

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), after consultation with the City and County of Denver (CCOD), is initiating a stakeholder group to re-evaluate Section 5.5 of the Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste Sites and Facilities that concern asbestos-contaminated soil management.

Stakeholder meetings 

Guests need to check in with the security guard on the east side, first floor of Building A.  Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and make your way to the conference room.

Teleconferencing may be available for participants that are unable to attend meetings in person. Instructions included in the emailed announcement.  The number of teleconferencing lines available is limited.

The goal of the stakeholder process is to formulate revised regulations to present to the Solid and Hazardous Waste Commission for rulemaking in August 2012.  The stakeholder meetings are intended to get feedback from stakeholders on proposed changes.
